Monster High Party Bags

Monster High Party Gift Bags

My 6 year old daughter wanted a Monster High Party so my husband took her to Wal-Mart to buy her party supplies. They came home with tiny little plastic bags, I-Carly candy, Sponge Bob stickers, and to top it off, a Hello Kitty cake. Needless to say, I returned everything and took the planning into my own hands. My very sweet daughter told me, "Mom it is a good thing that daddy tried to buy the party stuff because if he didn't he wouldn't know he wasn't any good at it."

I purchased the bags at Party City and added my daughter's favorite character. I backed the picture with black cardstock and used the 3D glue dots to give it a little dimension.  It still seemed like it was missing something so I added the ribbon to the front and back handles and made a little tag to hang off the back.

I relabeled some water bottles to match the party bags.

I wasn't able to find mixed bags of Monster High candy so I made my own. I bought large bags of Hershey's Nuggets and some suckers and relabeled them with Monster High pictures.

Party City sells a mixed bag of Monster High trinkets that I also added to complete the bags.

Card Making

Here is a great gift  idea for the card makers out there.

I took a granola bar box and decorated both the inside and out with scrapbooking paper. I used a divider to trace the tabs on the scrapbooking paper and cut them to size to make my own dividers. I decorated each of the tabs and used a label maker to print the section names and of course I filled it with a set of homemade cards.

Ladybug Baby Shower

Here are some of the ladybug decorations I made for my sister's baby shower. I was able to purchase ladybug plates and balloons from Amazon that really tied the whole party together.

The cake we attempted. I didn't really like it so I ended up buying cupcakes and having them make the frosting look like grass and then I placed little ladybug candies on top. I wish I had a picture because it was pretty cute.

Ladybug Snacks- Crackers with cream cheese and chives, cut grape tomatoes, and an olive for the head. I found the recipe on Google.

Ladybug gift bags- I filled them with mostly scratchers tickets and $5.00 Starbucks gift cards.

Hello Kitty Gift Bags

I made the gift bags for my daughter's birthday party. I purchased some inexpensive chapstick, pulled off the labels and relabeled it to match the bags.

Here are some Tinker Bell decorations I made for my nieces birthday party.

I purchased the party favors from Wal-Mart for cheap and redecorated them to match the theme.

It is hard to tell in this picture but the water bottles have Tinker Bell flying around on the labels.

The silverware labels match the water bottles.
